"The whole experience was horrible. Made an appointment for taxes to be done. Employee was 20 minutes late, did not do a sit down appointment because someone else was coming in. Ok no problem just left information with JH. No one called to let me know if my taxes were done. Had to call all over to try to find someone to come in so I could sign and pick up my taxes. This took 5 days to accomplish. Then when I did finally manage to get that done I was notified by Ohio about my taxes. I live in Wv!!! They had filed my taxes in the wrong state!!!!! This could have been avoided if the employee had went over everything with us instead of pretty much pushing me out the door. Like to never got this fixed. I will never use Jackson Hewitt ever again and I DO NOT recommend them to anyone."

"My tax preparer was very nice, but very quiet. He didn't really ask me many questions like they typically do. He didn't go over things with me, like the cost. I didn't realize how much they had charged until the next day. I went in later in the evening after work, so I didn't go through the paperwork. I was floored that I paid $437.00 for a basic tax return. Single mom one dependent. I was really mad at myself for just assuming the cost would be reasonable. I don't think that over $400 for a simple return was reasonable. Never again Jackson Hewitt!"
