"Because of Amy. She's spectacular at her job. She had me in and out in less than 10 minutes and got me nearly $650 more than I was expecting on my refund. I don't know what more I could ask for, minus the government keeping their dirty fingers out of my pockets. Give her a pay raise."
"We came in here with high expectations and an open mind. We were given an appointment with one of their "tax professionals" Jim, who had as many questions as we did. From the moment that we sat down until we left he asked three different people at least four question. We tried to stay as confident as we could, in the end he tells us how much we owe them which is an extreme amount, and lets us go on our way. Now we're at the 24-Day Mark and the IRS still has not continued processing our refund. After waiting on hold with the IRS for what seemed like a lifetime I finally got an answer. There were two forms that were not sent in and need to be faxed before they can continue processing our information. When I called H&R Block and spoke to them about my issues they will not issue a refund or discount but do want me to bring in my information so that they can fix the problem. Why would I go back there when they couldn't figure it out in the first place? I did tell the man, Mark, that I will take care of it myself and he condescendingly asked, "Do you know how to fill out this form?" I said I've got the instruction information I think I can figure it out. He then mockingly laughs and I ended the phone call. This is not a location anyone should be bringing their tax information to."
"I asked for a price point twice and was told that it isn't figured out until the end. Come to find out that the price for me was $379.00. I've used H&R Block for over 10 years and have never paid that amount! And in talking to Amy (manager?), she was very rude in the manner she spoke to me and told me if I didn't like it, I could go somewhere else. Never again will I visit this branch. The lady (Lisa) who actually did the work on my tax prep return was very kind."
