The Shisei Karate Dojo, located at 1012 Investment Boulevard in Apex, North Carolina, is dedicated to promoting self-improvement and personal development through focused Karate training. Our goal is to enhance physical fitness and encourage positive social interaction among our members. We prioritize instilling discipline and inspiring our students to become exemplary leaders in the community. At The Shisei Karate Dojo, we offer structured training in Traditional GoJu Ryu Karate. Since 2007, we have been providing Martial Arts instruction in Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, and Morrisville. Our Chief Instructor/Owner, Sam Carlson, is a 6th degree Black Belt with over 30 years of experience in GoJu-Ryu Karate. With a background in the United States Army, Sam has operated schools in various locations and has produced numerous AAU National champions.

Our mission is to promote cultural awareness and understanding through education, research, and community engagement. We offer a wide range of programs and resources for students, scholars, and the general public to explore and celebrate the diverse cultures that make up our global society.
