The Gallery Lofts

"Read the reviews! Absolutely abysmal management. Avoid any Tribridge operated establishment at all costs - seriously, go look at their own reviews. This place is a revolving door of "managing" personnel but don't expect anything to change; getting in-touch with someone via phone is near impossible, on-premise staff is nonexistent (outside of Julian who is the real MVP), amenities & overall building rapidly declining (freight elevator is a legitimate lawsuit waiting to happen and be prepared to step in poop at their dogpark), etc. The Gallery Lofts is an afterthought with all their time and attention focused on Plant 64. Also, be aware of the train if you happen to WFH or have an infant. It comes by multiple times everyday (day/night) and is extremely loud, to the point you have to pause conversations and let it pass. Ultimately, if you stay here, you WANT to be on the opposite side of the tracks. With all that being said, it's a shame because this building/location has so much potential but Tribridge is not only letting it go to waste, but exacerbating the decline. Shout out to Julian, that guy is the backbone of this place and deserves a huge pay raise. Without him this place would be in shambles."

"Seriously worst management ever, listen to the other negative reviews. To make a very long story short, I applied to live here as it was beautiful and everyone seemed nice and paid the reservation and application fees. But management messed around for 3 months and kept telling me they were working on approving my application. Eventually I contacted them and they told me they gave my reserved apartment away and had no place for me to live. I asked for my money back that I was legally entitled to based upon their own agreement. They completely ignored me. I ended up having to report them for fraud to my credit card company and the FTC to get my money back. WHICH I used to apply to the Link Apartments across the street and was approved two day later (on the same info). DO NOT RECOMMEND."

"The team at the Gallery Lofts helped me tremendously from touring my future home all the way down to signing my lease. I was very pleased with their patience, and guidance to making sure I was taken care of properly and at ease to move in."

"I did not post my review after moving because I wanted to believe that there would be more changes to accommodate the residents and to attempt to make them happy to live here. However, I must stand in solidarity with the other residents who have posted negative reviews and let my voice with my experience be heard. Please do not believe that the negative complaints are anomalies. Like the other posters, we LOVED our apartment, and we had the best location and the best views of downtown Winston-Salem that anyone could ask for! I could even walk to my job. BUT----DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! This has been the WORST rental experience that we have ever had. My husband and I moved from Link Apartments – stellar residential service and impeccable building maintenance. We only moved for a larger space. This building is very poorly maintained – lady bugs, ants, low water pressure for months, filthy in all the common areas (dog hair everywhere) and garage (dirt, leaves, stains & constantly malfunctioning doors). We have lived here for 15 months (August 2021 to November 2022) and there have been 5 leasing representatives with months without a rental office representative at all. They don’t even have the decency to communicate with you for any reason -- if work is being done outside of your windows; attempting to enter your apartment in non-emergency circumstances without knocking; after a fire alarm- the residents where outside for about one hour without explanation; or during power outages with no way to enter or exit the building securely. You will see responses to Google reviews; however, resident calls or complaints are never addressed. As a matter of fact, when you call the Tribridge home office, you can never get an answer or have the ability to even leave a message. They simply DO NOT CARE about your resident experience! Their only concern is collecting your rent. The current resident manager is only there to collect a pay check as she has ZERO customer relations skills. Like other reviewers, we could not take it anymore and elected to break our lease not to live in these conditions. Then we received more communication regarding the receipt of the lease break fee than any other issue of our residency. We have never been late with our rent and we left the apartment in better condition than when we moved in. There are too many other choices to waste your money here and it is simply not worth it. They constantly have vacancies & they wonder why!"

"We love living in Gallery Lofts! Here is a breakdown of our experience so far (6 months in to our lease): Location: Unbeatable! Four blocks maximum from all of the best food and drinks downtown. Parking: We can almost always find a spot in the gated parking lot. The gate is sometimes out of order, but is usually fixed same day. If the lot is full, we've never been unable to find a street spot within a block of the building. Amenities: The roof area is great. Gym has nice equipment and we love using it. The dog park is an amazing perk that no other downtown apartment can compete with! Gated, with a code that changes regularly to prevent non-residents from using it. Well-lit at night, so I feel safe using it! Apartment: Spacious, huge windows, gorgeous floors, and pretty good kitchen/bathroom appliances. The washer and dryer aren't great, but they work fine. Our biggest problem is the TRAIN! It comes right by our widow and it is LOUD! We've heard it come through any time between 6AM and 2AM. However, you get more used to it over time and we fall right back asleep. If we worked from home or had small children, it may be more of an issue. For us, it is a small price to pay for a great apartment downtown."
