"My husband Chris and I have both been Chris Walter's patients for shoulder therapy after surgery. My husband had four surgeries on his right shoulder, including one reverse joint replacement, one partial replacement due to infection, one antibiotic spacer joint replacement, and finally a last successful reverse joint replacement. Chris Walters worked with him through all of his surgeries including the final, and completely successful replacement. Chris W. was careful, patient, and totally competent in the treatment he provided for a very complicated slate of surgeries and extended recovery. Chris was naturally my choice of PT after my arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. Because of my husband's recovery needs; however, I was forced to wait six weeks post surgery to begin my therapy. Usually, this kind of delay results in an increase of scar tissue as well as stiffness and pain. My case was no different than the norm, except that I had an exceptional therapist in Chris. When I visited my doctor three months post--op, he was both surprised and pleased to find that my mobility and pain level was exactly as it should be for that stage of post operative healing. Chris is so skilled in his craft that he had been able to accelerate my healing through his excellent training and superb technique. He never pushed me beyond my comfort zone, while challenging me to go as far as possible with my exercises. I never suffered excessive pain, but rather felt steadily improving strength and mobility.
