"Nothing in there is overpriced, in fact everything is a great deal. Saw a post from a year ago ranting about the guy that’s over it and all of that is incorrect, he’s a very good guy from what I know in fact I was in there some time ago and he asked me to help him move something I did n not expecting anything he let me get a hoody or something. Which was really cool and helpful being at that time I didn’t have a job. Everyone in there are great, friendly and helpful people and they are doing great serving a great cause. I’ll maintain to drop in a couple times a week."
"I loved this store for the cause and also they had very good prices. Then they got some guy in there named Michael and he upped the prices to a ridiculous amount. Not only that, he's very rude and thinks his customers can't read. Everyone else in there is so friendly and nice and it was a great thrift shop that filled my home with a lot of fairly priced furniture, which was a big help during these times and being a mother of 4. I will not be visiting again until they do something with Michael. They're going to lose a lot of loyal customers because of him."

"We've only been here a little over a year, but Spruce Pine and Safe Place feel truly like home now. When I walk into Safe Place I'm always made to feel welcome. Even if I'm "just browsing"... some little jewel will catch my eye! Especially things for my 2 little grandchildren. Thank you, Safe Place Caretakers!"
