Cowee Textiles, located at 51 Cowee School Drive in Franklin, North Carolina, is dedicated to teaching textile art from the basic fiber to finished products. Our experienced teachers have studied weaving and spinning styles in both the U.S. and Europe, offering one-on-one instruction in a variety of techniques. From band weaving to large floor looms, our small class sizes ensure a personalized learning experience in a clean and welcoming environment. Our school boasts a vast library of reading material to help students plan projects in rug hooking, spinning, felting, dyeing, quilting, sewing, inkle weaving, and more. For those new to weaving, we have two looms available for creating rugs, table runners, or wall hangings at a low cost. Rigid Heddle looms are also available for lessons.
