The Alexander County Health Department is a local government office located at 338 1st Avenue Southwest in Taylorsville, North Carolina. We are an accredited local health agency offering a wide range of services to the citizens of Alexander County. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with immunization clinic times on Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available for those in need. Please note that due to circumstances beyond our control, Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Blue Medicare Advantage can no longer be accepted for vaccines at our health department.
