"The hotel as a whole was good. Tyler at the front desk was great. However, on my way to the room, I ran into 2 of the housekeeping staff. They were not friendly. Neither spoke as I maneuvered by their cart that they didn't bother to try to move. Once I got to the room. It was good. The only issue was that the "kitchen" sink was not clean. Otherwise, everything else was good."

"The last time I stayed here a few months ago I had to change rooms because it was so dirty. This time Fabiana cleaned our room to perfection twice! She was so pleasant and thorough we will stay here anytime we're in Charlotte. All the staff are friendly and courteous."

"Let me start by saying I absolutely love this hotel, the customer service and cleanliness were great. So I’ll explain the reason for the low rating: 1.) No hot water - My sister and I both had rooms on the same floor and neither of our showers got hot. Since it was both rooms I assumed it was just a floor issue and maybe it had been communicated prior to my arrival. 2.) Heat barely kicked out. Had to go all the way up to 80 just to feel warm air. 3.) I was double charged for one of my rooms. Other than that everything was Stellar! Thanks for great service during my stay"

"If I could give them 10 stars I would! This is a fairly new hotel. The room we had was a king handicapped accessible with a roll-in shower. All the appliances were full size - refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave; and you can borrow a 2 burner cooktop from the front desk. They have an indoor pool that's open 6:00am-10:00pm and it even has a handicapped lift to get in and out. But call ahead so they can make sure the battery for it is charged. There's a nice patio with chairs and tables in one area and cushioned couches set around a gas fireplace in another. The free breakfast is ok+, nothing to rave about - no waffles or biscuits and gravy - but much better than the usual box or continental breakfast that's offered elsewhere. The staff was great. They responded to requests immediately, were friendly, helpful, appeared to have pride in their work and the hotel and enjoyed what they were doing. Multiple restaurants and shopping close by. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"Pros: the staff members at the front desk were hospitable and the hotel's location was close to the attractions that my family came to town for. Cons: my room was not clean: there were smudges of food (maybe?) on the light switches, door and walls. Rice, food splatter and hair were inside the microwave, hair was in the shower and a layer of dust was on top of the fridge and the shelves of the shower. The carpet in the room and hallway were disgusting. I couldn't take pictures of any of this because my hands were gloved and contaminated from cleaning the room. Definitely wasn't the Hilton experience that I was expecting."
