Rudnick Foundation, bridges and boardwalks were built over streams and wetlands, and a larger bridge was reconstructed. The Hendersonville Botanical Club conducted plant inventories, while the Audubon Society tracked bird populations throughout the seasons. Additionally, 14 pieces of public art can be found along the trail, adding a whimsical touch to the natural surroundings.
