"My husband and I stayed at the Colorful Cow cabin at the Ela Cabins in July 2023. The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable for a weeks stay. Nice to have kitchen and living room facilities. A couple mornings and evenings we saw Elk grazing in the field at the adjacent property. What a beautiful site to see. We also took day trips from the cabin and got to see a lot of western North Carolina. Definitely would recommend staying here."

"Absolutely loved Ela Shores! We stayed in the River House and had a fantastic surprise when we first arrived, there was a family of Elk right behind it!! That cabin was great, so comfortable and clean, with a warm fireplace, well stocked, and was just perfect for a relaxing getaway. Jennifer was very welcoming, and you could see that she really takes pride in taking care of the property. We will certainly be back!"

"Ela shores cabins were absolutely amazing. The main cleaning lady, who we can't for the life of us remember her name was amazing! Made us feel so welcome when we arrived, gave us a ton of pointers and information for the area (we drove up from Florida). And even alerted us to Elk walking through! Which was an amazing experience as well. The cabin we stayed in was very clean (9 - owl) and were honestly planning another trip up there because of how nice it was. The people in the town were just as welcoming and helpful, we had car trouble and they got us rolling again quickly and for much less than expected. We'll absolutely be back."
