"While I was initially hesitant to place my 12 year old daughter at a boarding school far from our home, I'm so glad I did so! My daughter thrived in the well-structured and supportive environment of AAG. She had trouble making friends in the past, but learned so many social skills at AAG that she made friends with practically everyone, and is still close to many of her cabin-mates today, 6 months after graduating the program. She is also making new friends back at her old school in our home city. Best of all, while we still have disagreements, we have been able to resolve them using the skills AAG taught us. Conflicts are drastically reduced, and we are much closer today. I whole-heartedly endorse their program, with the caveat that parents have to participate in the work too, to make the most impact."

"My 13 yo daughter spent 1 year at AAG after spending 3 months at TRAILS. Although we live in Colorado, we found AAG through a recommendation from a national educational consultant we hired. We were very pleased with her experience at AAG. She made great strides therapeutically and the the therapy staff was dedicated and very helpful. The parent retreats were very well organized and extremely helpful for our family. She also had a good academic education with lots of individual attention. The facility is very well kept and a beautiful, safe environment. She even liked the food which was healthy and tasty. The residential staff was also great and took very good care of her and the other girls. The program is lead by a staff of very dedicated and caring people. She grew and matured a lot over the course of the year. She made some very close friends and worked on her relationship skills and mood regulation. I would strongly recommend AAG to anyone with a daughter looking for a therapeutic boarding school."
