"Sugarcane studios & Tara made my wedding gown alterations experience the best! I was nervous at first because my gown was a sample dress & needed quite a lot of work for what I visualized my dream wedding dress. Tara made my dream wedding dress come true! The original dress did not fit me which was a major issue. Also, it did not have sleeves. Tara was able to add butterfly sleeves & ended up adding a short, back corset that was barely noticeable. Also, Tara added structure in the front of the dress as well as hemming my dress. It was perfection! Tara was so easy-going to work with & I recommend you book her for any alterations you may need!"

"I do not think 5 stars is enough! I could not have found a better place to get the needed alterations done to my wedding dress (and when I say needed, I mean so desperately needed). My dress was ordered from a bridal salon out of state and unfortunately, it was about 2 to 3 sizes too large for me once it arrived. There was no time to reorder, and it was the busiest time of year. The bridal salon did not do alterations, so I was panicked, trying to find the right place to trust this huge process to. I found Sugarcane Studios when a good friend sent me their information when they were listed locally as one of the top 10 bridal for alterations. Tara and all her staff were amazing. They worked magic and with 4 appointments my dress looked like it was made for me, and my custom veil was perfect. Tara knew exactly what to do and suggested things I would have never thought of that made my dress fit and look amazing. The bustle was beyond amazing, and so many people said how wonderful it looked. I am so incredibly thankful to Sugarcane Studios and will forever refer everyone to them!"

"I cannot rave enough about the excellence, talent, and kindness of Tara and the entire team at Sugarcane Studios. The bridal studio that sold me my dress honestly messed up big time in ordering resulting in receiving a dress that could have easily fit two of my bodies. Tara was there during my most panicked moment of wedding planning and she assured me that she and her team could fix it. She clipped me in and slowly but surely I started seeing the dress I fell in love with come back to the sample I tried on originally and therefore ended up ordering. Not only did my dress end up perfect, but Tara and her team are efficient, professional, and organized with three mandatory appointments for bridal fittings as well as an emergency last minute in case anything is not perfect during final fitting. I could truly go on for the sweet personal connections that felt like God winks assuring me I was in good hands, but I will leave it at this — you will not find a better team of both seamstresses and people in the Asheville area than that of Sugarcane Studios team."
