FernLeaf Community Charter School - Wilderness Campus offers education for students in 5th through 12th grades and is located at 249 Old Hendersonville Road in Fletcher, North Carolina. Our school is a public charter school situated in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, conveniently between Asheville and Hendersonville.

At FernLeaf, we provide high quality academic instruction through a combination of Experiential Education, Project Based Learning, and traditional teaching methods. Our goal is to encourage students to be inquisitive and develop into thoughtful, compassionate, and engaged members of their community.

We maintain high academic standards while creating immersive learning environments that make education come alive. Our dedicated teachers help students feel connected to a larger purpose, preparing them for success in any endeavor they choose.

Students at FernLeaf participate in a minimum of 8 field work experiences per year, including overnight trips. Additionally, our school offers a variety of after-school programs to allow students to explore their passions.

We also prioritize student wellness by serving healthy lunches from our food trucks weekly. At FernLeaf Community Charter School, we strive to provide a well-rounded education that prepares students for a bright future.
