Sandhills Dental Career Center, located at 1902 North Sandhills Boulevard in Aberdeen, North Carolina, is a premier institution offering training in Dental Assisting. With 11 Saturday classes, students can continue their full-time job while pursuing a new career in the health field. Students have the opportunity to observe and work with real dentists in a practicing office setting. Established in 1987, Sandhills Dental Career Center was the first program in the country to train dental assistants in an actual dental office. The experienced staff at SDCC have years of experience in the dental profession and are dedicated to teaching the art and science of dental assisting. The program is constantly updated to reflect changes in techniques and the profession.
