"I have lived at Hawthorne Mill since it opened - in 2 different units now and I have never been happier living anywhere else. The units are unique and photogenic, the property management team is phenomenal and the maintenance team is quick and efficient on the rare occasions they are needed. Jordan is a highly-responsive and professional Property Manager and she makes living here the best possible experience. Cali is also an absolute joy. They both go above and beyond to ensure each and every resident is happy, heard and appreciated. There were obviously going to be growing pains when converting a 130 year old abandoned mill into apartments - but we got through that season and life is good here! Do not hesitate to come tour because of a "Karen" review."

"(Edit since they responded) I’m not the only one with issues. Do not move here if you would like peace and quiet. Management is not capable of keeping your apartment quiet enough to enjoy. The lack of poor quality insulation between the floors means a tremendous, horrible racket between neighbors. The hallways are concrete, so every pet can be heard the entire length of the building. The train has two nearby crossings. The door gaps are as big as bathroom stalls. Unfortunately, this is just not an apt I found to enjoy for the price due to the constant noise. ($1700)"

"I love my apartment and the community! I’ve lived here for about 6 months and have really enjoyed it. Cali has been wonderful to work with since the beginning. Yes, you hear sounds in the hall and sometimes your neighbors but that’s part of living in an industrial apartment building like this, and it really doesn’t bother me! The maintenance team has also been great. I adore the huge arched windows, high ceilings, modern updates, and building character. I appreciate the attention to detail with the renovation as all the countertops, fixtures, hardware, and appliances are high quality. The sound of the rain on the metal roof is heavenly!!! Location is perfect for me. Definitely recommend."

"In love with my apartment, and the community overall. I love the brick combinations with the wood and industrial details- it adds character to the place! Application process was simple and I appreciated the communication from the leasing office whenever I had questions or needed to reach them. I did read the negative reviews, however I wasnt turned away by it knowing what I applied for area wise, and knowing the building was older. I would highly recommend over and over."
