Bald Head Island Dog Park
The Bald Head Island Dog Park is a public park located at 230 North Bald Head Wynd in Bald Head Island, North Carolina, United States. The park is one of four public parks owned and maintained by the Village, offering recreational amenities for both residents and visitors. In addition to the parks, the Village also maintains several public beach accesses, with beach wheelchairs available for borrowing from the Public Safety Department. The Dog Park features a gazebo, picnic tables (including one ADA accessible table), a kayak launch with an ADA accessible EZ launch, a small boat launch, and an outdoor grill. Annual permits are available for owners of kayaks, canoes, and small non-engine boats to store their watercraft at the park for a fee of $150 per year. The park also has approximately 244 spaces for canoes and kayaks, with permits issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
