Pittsboro Community House
The Pittsboro Community House, located at 65 Thompson Street in Pittsboro, North Carolina, is a historic institution undergoing renovations to become ADA compliant by summer 2024. This public gathering space has a rich history, originally built in 1936 as a New Deal era project. It has served various purposes over the years, including as a Town Library and Union Hall for the local textile mill union. The main great room is 900 square feet and can accommodate up to 140 patrons. Stay tuned for the reopening of the Community House for rentals and indoor programs once renovations are complete. We apologize for any inconvenience during this restoration period.
