North Carolina Arts in Action
β ClosedNorth Carolina Arts in Action is a nonprofit institution located in Carrboro, North Carolina, dedicated to teaching children life skills through dance and music. Our programs are accessible to all students regardless of abilities and socio-economic status, empowering children in elementary schools statewide. Our Executive Director, Marlon Torres, believes in placing the arts at the center of children's lives. We are currently raising funds to reach more children in Title 1 public schools in the Triangle area. Thanks to the generous support of the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust, we have successfully met a $500,000 matching grant to fund our growth. We are now just $31,000 away from reaching our total campaign goal of $1.3 million by June 31.
