The mission of Crossnore is to provide a Christian sanctuary of hope and healing for children and families. The chapel houses the powerful fresco "Suffer the Little Children" by Ben Long, depicting the biblical verse Mark 10:14. Long, one of only four master fresco artists in the world, is renowned for his skill in creating luminous and permanent images using lime, sand, water, and pigment.
