CVS Pharmacy

"The Pharmacy and staff are all nice but when it comes to getting my medication every month is where this CVS Pharmacy really needs to improve. I've been with CVS over 15 years and I've been getting the same medications every month for I know over 12 years now. It's a type of medication that you can't just miss a day or I will have to be put into the hospital because it causes my blood pressure to get really high and if it's not controlled I will have a stroke or heart attack. The medication is something I have to have and when CVS promises you that they will keep it every month for me and my dad because he is on the same thing but CVS Pharmacy/Pharmacist have caused us a lot of problems because they have been out but the worst part about it all is we both have our Doctor fax a new order 72 to 48 hours in advance because the Doctor office wants people to give them that much time but 99% of the time our Doctor faxes it within a hour or so. Then when it's time to get it filled we call and they tell us they don't have it after it was faxed to them a few days before. CVS Pharmacist should have let us know before the day we need it to tell us they don't have it when they should have called us to let us know so we can get it somewhere else especially on the weekends when the Doctors office is closed and we have to have our medication. CVS NEEDS TO IMPROVE AND GET BETTER IN THE PHARMACY ESPECIALLY THE PHARMACIST NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT PEOPLE DEPEND ON THEM AND NOT EVERYONE IS DOING ILLEGAL THINGS WITH THIS MEDICATION AND WE HAVE TO HAVE IT."

"Recieved a topical steroid and price was $350.00+ This has not been the first time this has happened. My problem is with asking the pharmacist for help in referring a similar product for less cost. So I could go back to the doctor and get a prescription for that. In most doctors offices, the doctor don't know the prices of the medications. No, now I have to wait for the doctor to come up with another sub and hope that it it is closer to 50.00. It's all about money, with CVS. The pharmacist is trained and does know alternatives but unwilling to help. Time to shop for a new pharmacist. Ride aide had professional and caring pharmacist that would go out of their way to help."
