"This is the best time of year to go. Wintertime prices are cheap. This is a nice clean place to stay close to the blue ridge parkway. You can visit everything around and see the elk while they have horns. They look so much bigger in the winter. This is one of our favorite places to stay."

"Easy check in, great location. Room was clean, bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels, tissue, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, etc. Bed was extremely hard, I got very little sleep. Great bathroom amenities, even for someone with mobility issues. The furniture in the room was nice and accommodating for a person with mobility issues and for a larger built person. TV was big but bad reception. Our room was next to the ice machine which was noisy and disturbing. The free breakfast wasn't nothing but coffee, juice and muffins, danish. That was disappointing. Guess we need to stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites or The Holiday Inn Express if we want a nice complimentary breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, toast, etc. My companion used the stairs and he said they were nasty, looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a year. Would love to stay here again if they have a king room that has a bed that isn't so hard."

"The hotel was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were very clean and the shower pressure was amazing!! When you wake up in the morning they offer light breakfast and the Apple Danish is delicious!! I really enjoyed my stay!!"

"It is a good place for the price on certain days! The room did smell a little stale and the AC had a mildew smell to it. However, the beds were clean and well made. The bathroom was well maintained. Staff were polite and helpful."
