"I have been going to this dentist for over 11 years I have sever dental phobia but this group of people are amazing my hygienist Kerri is so thorough and gentle and respectful of my fears Dr Bodnar is just amazing love this group of people."

"I couldn’t even make an appointment because the front desk lady said they don’t take my insurance. So I called my insurance and they confirmed they were still in network with the practice and I even went onto their website which said they accepted it. The lady was rude and quite annoyed with me for trying to make an appointment said their next available was sept 2024. Like really I’m taking my health care needs back to Asheville. Worth the drive than to be treated like this. Do not go here terrible front desk staff."

"My mother and I have been going to the Clyde location of Cataloochee Dental for over 25 years, we also travel an hour to come to our appointments due to the fact that we adore Dr. Fisher, Dr. Bodnar, and have always had amazing dental techs. The past few years have been hit or miss with the front desk... and we've been in recent discussion about finding a dentist closer to home due to front desk mishaps. Today, once we arrived, we were told that the front desk tried calling, leaving a voicemail, and texting me saying my appointment was canceled. They supposedly called a number that I haven't had in FIVE years (and I have updated my information yearly at this office), a number that is disconnected (I checked)... my mother, on the other hand, received a text yesterday confirming BOTH of our appointments, sooo... why wasn't she called if the other number was disconnected? If they tried to reach out to me at all. I took a day off to go to the dentist, I've had this appointment booked for months, the front desk staff is unprofessional, they evidently fib, and because of them, I will not be returning."

"This group has nine dentists and is the only dental group anywhere near me. They are listed as an in network group in my 2022 insurance provider directory. I called them in March as I'm fairly new here and need a dentist. Woman who answered the phone said they are no longer taking patients with my insurance. So I called my insurance company and he was surprised to hear this. (How does the insurance company not know who has contracts?) He called them. When he came back to my call he said she confirmed that they are not taking patients with my insurance then she hung up on him. What a terrible way to do business. I hope the dentists treat people better than she does."

"My first experience with Cataloochee Dental Group was a great. The hygienist that I saw today was Melanie and she was so kind and gentle. She made sure I was comfortable and let me know everything she was doing. Dr. Fisher has a friendly, professional manner. I will and have already referred them to family and friends."
