Parking near pickens nose in North Carolina

Pickens Nose Trailhead is a park and tourist attraction located on Ball Creek Road in Otto, North Carolina, United States. The trailhead is situated in the Nantahala National Forest, just south of Franklin, and is named after the rocky ridge called Pickens Nose. The short 20-minute hike to the top of the ridge provides stunning views of the surrounding valleys. The trailhead is located on Forest Service Road 83 or Ball Creek Road, accessible from US 441 or Highway 64. The parking area is marked with a sign and offers sufficient space for visitors. The final views from the top extend all the way into Georgia on a clear day. Note that some views are exposed, so caution is advised.
