Holmes, Sr. Recreation Center at Campus Hills. The park recently underwent renovations to the baseball field, including the installation of new lighting, a water line, and an irrigation system. While the field is currently closed to allow the sod to take root, it is projected to reopen to the public in mid-June 2021. Visitors can also rent the picnic shelter or athletic fields at Campus Hills Park for various events and activities. The property for this park was purchased from the Inscoe family, who have been associated with Durham history since the mid-nineteenth century.
