"Pizza Tasted Old. Dough and sauce were definitely not homemade. It had a sour taste, and I paid 50 dollars for 2 pizzas. Such an expansive waste of money. The only reason these places have customers is not because they have good food or service but because they do more advertising than other smaller family owned restaurants."
"We went in and ordered a cheese slice for our son and a medium mushroom for my wife and I. Greeted by friendly staff in a clean establishment, great first impression. The cheese slice was enormous and yummy. Our son approved and we confirmed his satisfaction! Our mushroom pizza was also very very good. Moved down from NY last December and this pizza place is now one of our favorites down here."
"Cannot say enough GOOD about this. Placed a pick up order for bone in wings since my wife is gluten free. Picked em up and came home to eat and they were boneless. Called back and without any hesitation at all the nice lady said she'd take care of it and drive it to our house. And less than 30 minutes later she delivered. "Everything this restaurant makes is EXCELLENT! I moved down from New York and I was worried about finding quality pizza, but here it is! A great thin crust and they do not skimp on the toppings. The entrees, too, are tasty and large. I recommend Johnny's Pizza whole heartedly."
"I was in the Apex area today and happened to see a Johnny’s Pizza so decided to get some wings to go. I was first introduced to Johnny’s Pizza back in November at the location in Cary. I enjoyed the food at that restaurant so when I saw this one in Apex, I was excited to try it. This restaurant has available indoor seating, but it is fairly small. The cashier was welcoming and professional and took my order right away. I ordered two dozen wings in garlic parmesan and mango habanero sauces, respectively. I asked that my wings be cooked well with a little bit of crisp, so I had a few minutes extra wait time. I was the only customer in the restaurant so the wait wasn’t too bad. The wings were good. The sauces were definitely the highlight of the wings. Both sauces had a really nice flavor and a bit of a kick. The wing pieces were a good size as well. I took my order to go, and enjoyed them in the comfort of my home."
