"Great zucchini sticks -- not greasy, very light. Hot dogs as expected. Tables with order counter, nothing fancy. Staff very friendly"
"The waitress seemed ticked off when we asked a few questions. The menu says hand cut fries. I don't think so. All the seafood is fried. Three stars is way generous. The batter is kind of tasteless and a bit greasy. Perhaps the fryer is not hot enough. Prices are very high. I would love to see broiled seafood. The coleslaw was good. We really wanted to like this place. The owner should visit Little Pearl and copy it."
"Hot dogs are priced good, but casing is very think and dogs don’t taste great. But $7 for a side a fries you’d expect way more and better quality. Took one bite of a fry, not good. $18 for 2 loaded dogs, a sides of fries and a drink is ridiculous for the quality and portion size."
"Won't return. Got 2 loaded dogs for my wife and a tender + fries plate. For $14.50 I expected more chicken and fries. Portion size was pitiful. Tenders were like nuggets almost and half of the fries were nearly burned. Chicken wasn't crispy. Hot dogs tasted like gas station dogs according to my wife. Publix chicken tenders are way better, if that tells you anything. Guess that's why it's so dead in there. Too bad. ."
"My husband had been looking for an opportunity to try this place for years, based on the recommendation of his friends from work. We finally were in the right place at the right time & were able to give it a try. The restaurant was founded by a man from New York & brought his special recipes with him for a New York experience here in WNC. The food was excellent (for a hot dog place) and the service was very friendly & helpful. Restrooms were roomy & clean single stalls. The only problem was that it is the dog days of Summer & I don’t think the AC was on or working. We were so overheated that we left pretty quickly. Plenty of free parking & fun atmosphere."
