"I came in with plain, natural short nails. I work in the shopping center so I ran over to get clear gel polish. That's it! No polish removal, manicure or anything else. I was charged $25.00 for clear gel polish. All she did was polish and the polish started chipping within 4 days. I couldn't believe it. I will never step foot in there again. I'm a big tipper but I didn't leave one that day. I'm almost certain that is not the going price for just gel nail polish. After calling around the average price for gel polish only is $15 and includes polish removal. This establishment doesn't look or feel any more high end than the average nail salon. They took complete advantage of me but I smiled, paid my bill and left. Women of color please beware of this place. They charge us more than those who do not look like us. And frankly they can have it. I won't go anywhere my business is not appreciated. They should be ashamed."

"I'm knowledgeable of inflation happening all around. I'm most frustrated with prices when a woman (white) is charged just $35 for the same gel pedicure service I received. I was charged today a total of $96.00 for a pedicure with gel polish and S&S for my natural short nails. As the woman's credit card was ran for her $35 dollars I deducted in my mind that it's $61 dollars for my S&S short nail service. I always tip $10-20 dollars on top of my service fee. So all in all today I paid $106 dollars. The last time I visited this salon I said to myself that I would not come back because I was charged $150 dollars for acrylic add ons. I followed a patron out of the salon to ask her the cost of her services and she pulled out her receipt and said $54 dollars. I had a conversation with her about the price difference and she couldn't believe the difference herself. The nail salon also charged my elementary age daughters full prices for a nail job before. They did not dip their hands in water, as if they were receiving manicures.. they used regular polish on one occasion and gel polish on another- either way I couldn't believe I paid $120 for all of our nails to be done. I'll be using another salon to spend our money."
