"I love this house it was a great sight to see there is plenty of History if you read the letters when you walk into the I guess could be the living room, the over all rooms were bigger than I thought they were before I entered, the sight of this house and the view of the landscape is awesome. It's a must see"
"Terrible. Skip Cataloochee altogether. But if you do visit, for God's sake, do not build cairns in the creek. You're ruining habitat when you do that. AND REMEMBER THAT NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON TRAILS IN THE PARK, TOURISTS"
"Easy 1 mile hike in and 1 mike hike out to get to this house. There are a few foot bridges that cross over water that are very cool. I would classify this hike as easy since it's mostly flat with hardly any elevation gain."

"This is a beautiful place to visit and a nice easy hike to get there. The house is nestled in a nice area right next to the stream and is in great shape. Definitely worth the trip."
