"They say on the website that they are pet friendly and that they welcome Military TAD and traveling military families however when I got there with all of my luggage, after reserving and paying online, they did not accept my service animal paperwork or my dog and they told me they only accept pets if they are service animals under 20 lb- which it does not say on the website anywhere at all (I double-checked after I left). They did not call the Ada they did not call the VA they did not even call the doctor on the paperwork. My dog was better behaved than the majority of people that passed the lobby and the 30 minutes that we were there dealing with this. Another thing I didn't like was that the manager and the desk clerk refused to give me their names so that I could provide them when I complained- which really left a bad taste in my mouth. If you're going to stand by your work and insist you are right, then you should be willing to provide your name. Hpwever, I did find out from the police (whom they called when I refused to leave otherwise) that the desk clerks name is Jay. The entire time that we were there trying to find another place and a Lyft there for all of our luggage, me, my service dog and my fiance was almost an hour and in that time neither the manager nor the desk clerk spoke so much as a word to either of us. Would NOT recommend. Not in the best area either, live machine gun fire came from nearby as we were leaving."

"Rooms are not good, bugs in all of the drawers ,broken lamps, outdated, cat pee smell on bedding, chipped paint, window sill has water in it, other room has nasty carpet, the base is pulled off of the wall and the dishwasher has nasty slimy water in it. We heard they had a renovation and the manager said that there were only two rooms left to be renovated but idk what got renovated because these rooms are not good at all."

"The elevator looks terrible. We were on the 2nd floor, and it was so strong of weed. The couch was covered in pet hair. We came in late and didn't really investigate the bed. Only 3 pillows weird but ok. Bed had urine stains, sheets had smoke burn holes, and a strong odor of urine. Realized after we woke up. The shower curtain had holes in it, and washing clothes gray/dingy. Inside cabinets were rotting on the bottom, microwave so rusty, fridge look like something from the 90s and rusty, rolling chair was filthy. The only thing that was good was the front desk clerk at check in he was super nice. Other gentlemen at check out was nice also. I did not stop by the desk to address all this because I know it's not their fault. Property really needs an update. I didn't take many photos. I was trying to hurry up and leave."

"It's a cheap hotel so you get what you pay for. A lot of things in the room were broken. The cupboards were dirty. The handle on the sliding bathroom door was missing. The bathroom door would get stuck every time you used it. Service was very nice but when I asked for soap that they forgot to give us in the first place they never came to replace it. They were also overbooked."

"I was a little concerned with the reviews. But the reviews doesn't do this place justice. We have been staying in hotels in the area for about 6 months. And it is not the worst. I have only been here one night but I haven't seen any bugs. The place is very quiet. I don't feel unsafe like.the reviews say. The manager was so nice checking us in. They even honored my emotional support pet which other hotel have not. I was really surprised by this. The rooms are outdated. And the room were not perfectly clean. But it isn't unusual around here to have to clean my room a bit. They have the kitchen supplies as listed. My room.had everything that I expected. The price was very reasonable. And the Stagg has been great. They do have a lot of evidence of people.not respecting the non smoking rule but when checking in they seemed like they are taking those complaints seriously. If they suspect you of smoking they will ask you to leave immediately. My husband is quite picky. But he loves this place. It is perfect for temporary long stays"
