Yadkin Valley Fiber Center, located at 113 West Main Street in Elkin, North Carolina, is a unique institution dedicated to ongoing weaving instruction. We welcome weavers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Our classes cover a variety of weaving techniques, including four shaft, inkle, rigid heddle, and tapestry looms. We also host guest instructors for specialized workshops, offer a Master Weaving Certification Program, private classes by appointment, and have a gallery space focused on fiber arts. One of our annual events is Small Expressions, a juried exhibition featuring small-scale works using fiber techniques in any media. This exhibit showcases intricate designs and thoughtful communication through fiber art. This year's exhibit is available by appointment through February 15, 2024.
