Shereen Alavian is a doctor specializing in pediatric care, located at 3024 New Bern Avenue in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dr. Alavian provides comprehensive care for children from newborn to 22 years old, focusing on well visits and sick visits. She is dedicated to educating families about their child's health and empowering them to administer home care. Dr. Alavian is fluent in Spanish and enjoys working with Spanish-speaking families, as well as serving minority populations and those in rural areas. Dr. Alavian received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and completed her residency in Pediatrics at Holtz Children's Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. She also holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. In her free time, Dr. Alavian enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, horseback riding, playing with her cat, and volunteering in the community to support youth empowerment and community-building efforts.
