Vets To Vets United, Inc. is a nonprofit organization located at 2510 Glendale Avenue in Durham, North Carolina. Our mission is to improve the lives of U.S. military veterans by providing them with loving, life-long companionship in the form of high-risk rescue animals. By pairing veterans with animals in need, we aim to improve mental and physical health, combat loneliness, and provide support for those suffering from depression, PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, or physical disabilities. Founded in 2012, our program serves the Triangle area of North Carolina and is dedicated to saving the lives of both veterans and animals. We visit local veteran service facilities, community senior centers, and schools to promote a healthier, more productive community. Our organization is committed to unity, selfless service, and bringing hope to those in need.
