The Junction
The Junction is a unique meeting space located in the heart of the Black Mountain Historic District at 101 Black Mountain Avenue in Black Mountain, North Carolina, United States. Originally known as The McKoy building and built circa 1895, this two-story brick structure is the oldest remaining building in Black Mountain. Saved from demolition in the 1970s by Joe Tyson, the building has a rich history as a grocery and boarding house for travelers. Now known as The Junction, the first floor is home to Que Sera Restaurant and Tayloe's Oyster Bar, while the upstairs offers office and meeting space. Although all private offices have been leased, drop-in desk space is available 24/7 for those looking to get work done in a creative and inspiring environment. The Junction is already attracting an eclectic group of individuals who are making connections and breathing new life into this 120-year-old building.
