"Scheduled an appointment as a new patient to the office (as well as being new to the area) at the Duraleigh location. I informed scheduling staff of reason for wanting to be seen as well as request for other concerns to be addressed at visit. Was made aware that Physician may want previous medical records but it would NOT be a problem being seen without them. As if Physician needed them, a request - FAX could be made and received that day and could be viewed at visit. Three days later I leave work early and check my child out early from school as well to make it to appointment. After sitting there for 30 minutes and filling out paperwork, and being asked if I understood that once I signed release form my child’s previous Dr. that they would no longer be her provider and Raleigh Children and Adolescents providers would, in which I agreed. Staff of whom I had spoken with several times in office that day prior to appointment then comes from the back saying she spoke with Dr. and that it was her policy to see medical records at least 3 days PRIOR to visit to have time to review them and that she apologized and that I could visit any of the Urgent Cares and after doing so, I could make another appointment and she could review/ expound on what the provider there had done if necessary. I politely although aggravated asked why I was “just” made aware of that and if she would see my child as a courtesy being we had been there and I was not made aware of policy until then… I was told No. Needless to say we left and indeed did visit a great Urgent Care on Hargot Street in Downtown Raleigh who saw us and addressed my concern in a efficient and respectful manner. I do appreciate the understanding of office manager I spoke with in regards to the experience at the Duraleigh office."

"We love Dr Owrey! She still makes phone calls to parents! MOST don’t do that anymore! They get their nurses to do it! We started with RC 23 years ago and Dr Lehan and Sena did the same thing! I am so glad you have Owrey who believes in having a relationship with her families!!❤️ She is patient, we never feel rushed and she cares! It’s just who she is! Hold on to her! We have at least 10 years left! :)"

"We have been going to RCAM for ten years and we have lots of good things to say but yesterday I went for our 5 year-old’s well child visit and we had a pediatric nurse who deserves to know her kindness and intelligence is exceptional. If there was an academy award for pediatric nursing, she should get it. She had my son laughing hysterically, she made him feel loved and safe, and she was honest with him, and empathetic. She interacted with him like a person she adored and respected his entire visit. And he noticed. We pick our pediatric offices for the MDs but it is the nurses who spend the most time with our children, they are the ones who make or break the visit. They are the ones who give the shots, praise their growth, cox them through the assessments. Thank you and please know we see your excellence."

"The doctors and staff are great. But the office manager seems to have some sort of disconnected place with the workers in the office. She is not personable. And the workers have been harassed by her. It makes the visits with the baby uneasy. While others seem to busy themselves there are some not answering phones and just letting it ring. They are often on their phones. I will not be surprised if the business starts to be harmed by this reaction. While others are not working together. Great doctors nurses etc. I am now looking for another pediatrician because of the way that the office manager behaves. Its intentional and I have heard her say some questionable things. I dont want my babies information etc to go lacking."

"We have been using RC&A since my son is born. I met with Dr. Fletcher when I was pregnant. This was almost 5 years ago, but they offered a meet and greet. We got to ask questions and tour the office. I’m very picky and thankful to have found them. I always try to see Dr. Fletcher, but everyone there has been great."
