"First time eating here. My daughter ordered the Smoky Mountain Sweet Potato Pancakes and she loved them!!!! I ordered 2 eggs, over medium, bacon and I replaced the pancakes with hashbrowns. The eggs were luke warm/getting cold. The bacon was cold and too rubbery. It needed to be more crispy. The hashbrowns were hot. Jennifer took my eggs and bacon to get me ones there were hot. When she brought them back, of course, my hashbrowns were cold. Ugh! I just mixed my hashbrowns with the eggs and ate them. Jennifer, our server, was very nice and helpful!"
"What a great restaurant. I imagine this is predominantly a brunch spot, but the dinner options did not disappoint. The entrees were well cooked with large portions, but I highly recommend trying the desserts! Will definitely return."
"Very disappointed at the food from Midtown cafe. All the reviews have rave reviews about food and pictures are very appealing, but I didn't receive the same quality at all. My food was bland, no flavor what so ever. It is just some grill meat in a bun. I think you have to get pancakes and cakes from here in order to have a satisfy meal. Our waiter was very attentive, all the employees were very nice. Kitchen needs some improvement tho."
"Pavla took good care of us! Everything is so yummy and the portions are huge. The only thing that could have been better would be if the cafe server had brought things like a spoon and cream with my Chai tea."
"Everything here is delicious. There’s so much more I want to try. I suggest getting the fries spicy! Love the Thai Turkey crunch wrap, the fried green tomato BLT and the farmers breakfast. Service is always great. Nice patio space too."
