Established in 2006, the park is situated on the campus of Brier Creek Elementary School, right in the heart of Research Triangle Park. This park is a unique partnership between the City of Raleigh and Wake County Schools, allowing for shared use of school and community spaces.
The park offers a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors of all ages, including playgrounds, sports fields, walking trails, and picnic areas. Park Director Scott Graham and Assistant Director Tara Newlin oversee the park's operations and activities.

"Doesn’t seem welcoming as a public park as it’s on the elementary school property. Outside the park are extensive sidewalks (several miles, lined with a mix of young shade trees) running through the residential community. They’re nice to walk on to get your steps in."
"Nice but limited options but there are basketball court and volleyball court. Children park with multiple slide options. It's clean and well maintained as it's next to public school. Area is decent. Cleaness : 4/5 Activities : 3/5 Courts : 4/5"
