Founded by Retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Smith, Ph.D., the institution brings together veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and community leaders to mentor young people in achieving personal and team goals in challenging outdoor environments. The institution offers summer camps for first-time shooters, focusing on gun safety and competitive shooting skills using advanced Sig Sauer P320-M17 Air Pistols. In addition to camps, Bladesmith Outdoors provides outdoor skills training, private instruction for competitive shooting sports, and armed self-defense.
