Clarion Inn Asheville Airport

"My wife, my children and I, had an amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near surrounding restaurants and businesses, the hotel is very clean and quiet, the rooms are adequately sized, the staff is extremely nice and welcoming, and there is free breakfast in the mornings, which is better than most breakfasts offered at other hotels. The cost of the room was extremely fair, especially considering the quality and experience. I highly recommend this place, and I will absolutely be back in the future!"

"I was charged a total of $500 for a $95 one night stay at this hotel due to booking fees. Not a bad stay. Particle board furniture and loud neighbors. The hotel clerk did not inform me of an additional $400 fee for this stay. I contacted customer support and they told me their was nothing I could do. No refund or anything to make things right. Food was cold. And a 3-5 business day hold to get money back on card. This could mess up a lot of people financially with overdrafts due to excessive cleaning fees. And the hotel clerks laughed at the extra $200 cleaning fee which turned into $400. I would not recommend this place. One star."

"We stayed at your property December 19th. The reviews we read lead us to book at Clarion. They did not disappoint. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Carmello and her staff were wonderful. When returning to the area we will return to The Clarion."

"This was my second visit for an annual mother-daughter weekend. We came back because our last visit was great. Hotel feels safe, breakfast was wonderful, lobby area is big and bright. The location is perfect - near the airport, shopping and restaurants. And we love the Blue Agave Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel. However, this visit was a bit disappointing. Our room 110 felt dirty and in need of remodeling. The white bedding was dingy and needed to be replaced. There was a giant stain on the hallway carpet which we walked over for three days. It could have been cleaned in 10 minutes. Maid service came in and made our beds but didn't empty the overflowing trash can. To top all that off, I was charged a $200 "security deposit" upon check-in that wasn't released back to my credit card for several days after checking out. If I had known that would happen, I would have never booked there. It is noted as an afterthought at the bottom of the website, so my bad. But next time we'll look elsewhere."

"We had a very nice stay here on the way home from a funeral, so short notice to book this room. The room had a pull out couch, which I didn't expect, and a view of airplanes taking off for our toddler to enjoy! The breakfast spread was impressive and had dutiful attendants! People were very tolerant of our 2-year-old and newborn, and everything felt very clean. The only downside for us was the 1 washer, 1 dryer laundry room, which only took quarters, so was a bit of an extra stressor for us to have to go get cash and then change in order to wash spit-up on carseat cover, clothes and blankets late at night after a long drive. But they did have a laundry room, and even gave me some dish soap to wash bottles in our room! Wish we could have tried the Mexican restaurant but we weren't there at the right time of day. My brother, a pilot, said he'd stayed there before and the restaurant was good, though!"
