"The cutest little renovated motel! Super charming and the location is great. Walking distance from the beach and from plenty of Carolina Beach activities. Lesa at the front was so helpful and I felt very welcomed. Will definitely be back!"

"Very nice little place for a quick get away . Walking distance to almost everything . Lisa at the front desk was super friendly and helpful when i needed help . Easy check in and check out was definitely a bonus. On the other hand , i felt like our room wasn’t very clean and if I didn’t call for toilet paper and extra towels we wouldn’t have gotten any . They text you to ask you if you want room service but you have to let them know by a certain time . Our room ceiling light would randomly come on in the morning or sometimes turn on and off . No where to put your shower amenities , the one thing you can put it on was ridged and tilted so everything fell off and the shower was super small .For the price and location it was nice quick last minute get away"

"Very quaint and rustic with a few modern upgrades. Front desk staff very friendly and welcoming. No customer service, as far as the rooms were concerned. We were on our own. No one to really ask if we needed extra towels and trash cans were small and there were no extra bags. Also soap holder in the shower was dirty, but the rest of the room and bathroom were well organized and clean. Very close to shops and restaurants, as well as the boardwalk."

"We booked a room here for a last minute trip to Carolina Beach and it was an amazing find. We wanted to be close to the beach without paying the exhorbitant rates for the beachfront hotels and found that we were only a quick 10 minute walk away, close enough that we were able to make quick runs back to the room if needed. We arrived late on a Thursday night and were surprised with an amazing view of the fireworks show from the boardwalk across the street. There was a carnival over there as well. We walked to dinner at the nearby Shuckin Shack and the shrimp, oysters and cocktails we ordered were all wonderful. Check in was easy with clear instructions and a key code for the door. The manager even called us to confirm our arrival time and ensure that we had everything we needed to get checked in with our late evening arrival. The king room itself was a bit on the small side, but we enjoyed the renovated yet kitschy retro vibe. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with good pressure, and the wall unit ac was surprisingly powerful. We also made good use of the wifi. And the location is simply perfect. All in all, it was a great value for the price and exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again."
