Days Inn by Wyndham Louisburg

"I’m grateful that the heat worked and that I had cable to watch television. Otherwise, this is by far the least accommodating hotel I’ve ever stayed at. No hot water in the morning to take a shower; dirty towel in the bathroom floor upon check in; the clean towels (only 2 provided) were stained and seemed very old; plastic wrap still on the lamp shades (fire hazard); Wi-Fi was not available/functioning even though it was advertised. Not a huge issue but I found it odd that the room was mostly empty. There were very few pieces of furniture. King size bed only had three pillows. For the price, this place just isn’t worth it. Go stay in Wake Forest and hopefully it’s better there."

"Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name associated with this place (Days Inn). I’ve stayed several places over the years that were bad, but this place takes the cake! First, there is NO ONE in the lobby. I tried to check in but could not find anyone! I rang the bell several times, called out Hello several times then finally noticed a sign with a phone number to call. A man answered and after about 10 minutes he showed up to check me in. The lobby doors are left unlocked and the lobby is unattended which is a tremendous safety issue for the customers. Each time I’ve been to the lobby there was no employee in sight. Second, the non smoking room smells like a tobacco bar. The towels and linens looked as if they were 20 years old. So far I’ve noticed no bed bugs as mentioned in other reviews. Third, there are no cups/glasses of any kind in this room. I went to the lobby after dark and couldn’t find them there either. Again, no employee in sight. Fourth, I left for the day and came back into the room later in the evening and it was found just as I left it. The bed was unmade and nothing else was attended to. Fifth, the bathtub looks filthy and there is no additional toilet paper other than the partial roll found upon arrival. Finally, for $90 a night this place sucks! You can probably spend less somewhere else and get much better accommodations."

"We came for a wedding and all our guests were greeted with nice hospitality. The management went above and beyond to fulfill our needs. I'll be staying here every time I am in Louisburg. All issues in the past have been resolved"

"PATRONS BEWARE! The manager/owner will fleece you if he can. We would not stay here again if you paid us to. Absolutely the worst hotel experience of our lives. We drove 14 hours to get to this place for our nephew's funeral and forgot to tell him we had a service dog when checking in. Even though we clearly stated this when we placed the reservation, he was going to charge us an additional $250.00 fine. We said no and asked for 60 minutes to vacate and he said "I'll call the cops in 30 minutes." We had to dress in the funeral home bathroom. He also charged us for the second night even though we couldn't stay there without getting the fine. We notified the parent company but got no satisfaction. We were charged the extra $50.00 for the dog even though for service dogs this does not apply."

"I recently had the roof blown off my house so I had to be here for about two weeks. In those two weeks each room I had has had bed bugs. Today I was refused to be given my deposit back because a guest that did NOT stay over night didn’t leave there ID at the front desk, he also stated that a towel was stained, mind you that towel was stained when given to me however since I was using it to step on when I got out of the shower I didn’t complain. I would like to know if all that was why my deposit was kept it should have been returned since there was bedbugs and roaches in my room. Id take your money elsewhere."
