"I am 61 years old and have been to many different Dentists over the years. I just recently had my initial New Patient exam with Dr. Maltba. I can honestly say that this has been the most thorough and professional Dental exam I have EVER had. The experience was very informative during all of the different phases of the exam. Everyone and I mean everyone that I came in contact with were so very pleasant and professional. I can't recommend Dr. Maltba and her staff enough!! Absolutely the best Dentist and staff I have ever had the privilege of going to. Update: It has been a few weeks and I just completed my first dental cleaning with Angela. My comments above are yet again reflected in my dental cleaning visit. Angela was very pleasant, she explained all the cleaning steps as she went. She also took the time to provide me with some Dental education along the way. I actually learned some things about my oral health that I did not know. I can only say yet again that Dr. Maltba's Dental Practice for me is the BEST!!"

"The Spruce Pine Dental experience was amazing! The reception by Hannah and Amy was professional yet welcoming and made me feel right at home. Angie, my hygienist, did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth, but more than that she gave me a thorough lesson on how to keep my teeth and gums healthy. This was not just a pep talk - she went into what the various bacteria are and how to brush and floss to rid the mouth of bad bacteria. Christy, an assistant, did a complete x-ray series and explained everything that she was doing. She put me at ease and was exceptionally kind and patient answering my questions. Charity, an assistant, took additional x-rays and generally prepared me for cavity repairs while constantly checking to see that I was comfortable and at ease. She constantly explained everything that was going on. Katie was always around, going from room to room insuring that all was prepared for the next procedure. Dr. Emily Maltba was very professional and kept me informed of each step in the procedure. She and Charity worked seamlessly together. It was probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had.
