"Kelly is the consummate professional, a gifted EMDR therapist and person of faith I am a retired naval officer who struggles with PTSD Kelly helped me learn skill sets to recognize, evaluate PTSD triggers, process the emotional responses and maintain a calm balanced state of mind In short she saved my life. Putting my male arrogance and ego aside, I searched for help and found Kelly Harrison. Kelly over the course of several months, helped me learn how to deal with tragic loss of life incidents that I personally was involved in and experienced. I contemplated suicide many times over the course of two decades before I met Kelly. I thought I could deal with mental health issues without professional help. I was wrong. Kelly helped me through my healing process. CDR Scott Waddle USN retired Former Commanding Officer USS GREENEVILLE SSN 772"
"Christy has been such a blessing over this past year and a half of seeing her. Her approach and empathy makes her an excellent therapist. I also appreciate the office and all of their help with scheduling appointments and schedule changes I’ve gone through!"
"I’ve been working with Kelly for years. I came to her in the throws of anxiety and depression, and she walked patiently with me through it. I now not only have a huge reserve of practiced strategies for hard moments, but I have an excellent ally in Kelly for when life’s chaos creeps in. She’s a wise and compassionate counselor, and I recommend her practice whenever I can."
"Kelly Harrison has been working with me as a counselor for the past 3 years and she is truly wonderful in my opinion. She is deeply devoted to God, and to the Lord Jesus Christ, she is highly educated, very skilled at what she does and is extremely empathetic, caring and compassionate. My improvements and results so far are remarkable. The other people in Kelly’s office whom I have had the opportunity to interact with have also been very kind and caring, especially the front desk woman (of color - given another review I just read) who was on staff when I first began :)"
"I like the fact that this is a woman owner company but I am unsure (and I can only speak for myself) if they hire outside of their race. In speaking with them they all seem pretty friendly, but I had a gut feeling that the zoom interview in which they were able to visually see me would be totally different from the voice interview. This is just my personal feeling which I kind of verified for myself by seeing who the new hire was. Of course they may say that the other lady was more qualified etc. but like I stated this is my gut feeling and I just want others that are similar to me to proceed with their eyes wide open. I have added this section in response to the owner's reply. I never stated that I was disappointed about not getting an offer for employment (I was employed at the time of the interview both in the field of therapy as well as massage therapist so this was not something that I was desperate to receive). My review was simply based off my perception that your place of employment is a group of white ladies that hire white ladies. My name is very common (could be mistaken for white person) and if there were others that were more qualified then in my opinion I should not have been asked for second interview. Personally I am not in the business of the back and forth my review was for those that are similar to me to just simply be aware. There are thousands of people that will be more qualified or experienced than me and I applaud them in achieving their accomplishments. I wish those that were hired the best. If that position was meant for me then I would have been in said position. I do not wish to reapply now or 10 years from now. God has other plans for me. I just added author to my accomplishments so I am definitely not disappointed. BEST WISHES and I will not be replying again. That review once again was to give those considering employment with your establishment my perspective. I didn't say anything bad about your establishment. I actually believe I stated that everyone was nice. Now if a person of color actually ends up being hired there in the near future maybe it's to show that you do in fact believe in diversity. Oh my gosh. I just had to go check the website and they just hired African American woman. I almost feel like I'm psychic. I can almost guarantee that she saw review and went to work. In the midst of the interview she stated that she was hiring one additional person to join them. I waited before posting my initial review to make sure my gut feeling were credible. Now all of a sudden there's a second hire and she African American. I'm not even going to go any deeper, but I see through what you did. You may fool some people but definitely did not pull the wool over my eyes. People are so funny."
