"My experiences with the Duke PrEP clinic have been great. I was somewhat worried as to what to expect when I finally found a place I felt would understand my needs and actually knew about this medication as prevention (I am from a small town and just didn't feel comfortable discussing this with my older, general doctor), but from my very first visit, I felt comfortable and knew I was in a safe environment free from judgements. It was obvious I would be treated by professionals who understood my situation and need for PrEP. The staff (social workers, Justin Frye, Mary, and nurses) have been very responsive to all the concerns I have raised and gone above and beyond to answer all questions and make me feel at ease. They have even helped with some challenges I faced due to traveling quiet a distance to the clinic. I would definitely recommend this clinic; especially to anyone who is thinking about or wanting to start PrEP but just does not know where to start or finds the whole process overwhelming."
