At Jubala Coffee, we focus on manual brewing methods such as pour-over and French press to bring out the natural flavors of our coffee. Our baristas are trained to prepare each cup of coffee to order, ensuring a high-quality experience for every customer. We also offer espresso-based drinks made with our La Marzocco Linea PB machine for those looking for a richer, more indulgent option.
Community engagement is a core value at Jubala Coffee, with owner Andrew's deep connection to Raleigh driving his commitment to serving and building relationships within the local community. Our first location in Lafayette Village was chosen with the community in mind, and we continue to prioritize serving and supporting our neighbors.
Jubala Coffee was inspired by a friendship that began in 2000 between a young man from Raleigh and a Kenyan villager, highlighting the importance of compassion and support for communities in need. We are open on weekends from 8am to 5pm, and we look forward to welcoming you to our cafe for a delicious cup of handcrafted coffee.

"Jubala is a quite lovely coffee shop with great outdoor seating. The coffee is superb with full body and artfully made. Love that it's served in actual coffee mugs with saucers. I highly recommend their biscuits, which are scratch made, flaky, and buttery. Even though not directly on the menu, you can request just the ham and cheddar biscuit, which has a wonderful flavor profile with a slightly sweet biscuit, creamy cheese, and salty pop from the ham. Jubala is a perfect place to meet a friend for brunch, a client, or hold business networking over coffee."
"We ordered biscuits with egg and cheese and I would say one of our favorite breakfast. We also order glazed waffles, we don’t like much it’s little dense and the sauce is ok in taste. Our all we had a good experience."
"Iced coffee was great. I enjoyed the option to have a glass for the dine in option. It was rather busy, but I was able to find seating, both indoor and out. Wi-fi was available and I believe there were a few outlets for people needing them. Nice little shopping center as well."
