"I went to the food lion the other day looking for some milk and eggs. It was your average boring trip, got the eggs, then the milk. While I’m walking to the register a food lion employee ushers me to his register, of course I go. I thought it would just be a normal I interaction, but let me tell you I left that day with eggs,milk, a new friend and a favorite store. His name was Patrick and he was ever so kind to me. He would ask me questions about my day and talk to me about his. He was fast and efficient and made my day 10x better. Thank you food lion for hiring such a nice young man and he deserves a raise if you ask me. If you read this Patrick I hope to speak again. Ciao"
"Very disgusting and lazy produce workers !! I'm vegan and every time I go there evening is spoiled rotten outdated!! Or if it look decent when I get my items home I give it 2 days it's molded!! That food lion never had fresh produce or stocked !!! I will take my money to Harris teeter where it's fresh produce always I was just trying to go to a closer market but I'll take the drive ..."
"I had a great experience at Food Lion in Cornelius today. The workers were friendly and helpful. The store was very clean and well stocked. Parking was more than ample. Many items were on sale and lots of others were reasonably priced. They recently got an additional fleet of two-tier shopping carts that are small, easier to navigate, and make it much easier to keep refrigerated products separate from shelf stable items. I really like that! I will add this supermarket to my list of good local grocery stores."
