Cherokee County Center for Applied Technology
The Cherokee County Center for Applied Technology, formerly known as the Tri-County Industrial Education Center, is located at 2415 Airport Road in Marble, North Carolina. Originally established in 1965, the institution has undergone significant growth and development over the years. The center offers a variety of programs and services to support workforce development in the community, including classes and short-run manufacturing facilities. The facility houses the college's Small Business Center, Machinist Training Program, and Associate Degree programs in Electrical/Electronics Technology and Machining Technology. The center is a result of collaboration between Tri-County Community College, Cherokee County, and industry partners, with grant funds provided for building renovations. The institution operates Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Graham County Center, an extension campus of Tri-County Community College, offers educational services to residents of Graham County. The center provides curriculum and continuing education courses, counseling, financial aid, and other student services. With a commitment to providing convenient and affordable access to education, the Graham County Center serves as a valuable resource for the community.
