"This is the second time we’ve been to Tapoco Lodge. Both times were amazing experiences. The first visit was in the middle of summer, and now this time was to celebrate Christmas. We absolutely love Tapoco Lodge. We highly recommend! The Bear Creek Fall trail is gorgeous. Be sure to take your hiking boots and poles!"

"We returned to Tapoco for Thanksgiving weekend after first visiting in 2017. The Tapoco was nice then but it’s gone thru an amazing transformation. First the people. Every single staff member we interacted with was kind and attentive. The General Manager, Valerie, runs a well oiled machine with attention to detail that was impressive. Spotless clean. She leads a team who worked together as a TEAM. They treated their guests as family. Second the food. They have a nice Tavern downstairs which we enjoyed. But on Thanksgiving day we had one of the best Thanksgiving meals we have ever had. Traditional with a Southern regional influence. We highly recommend the Tapoco as a get away destination."

"My husband and I just got home from our anniversary trip. We absolutely loved it. The lodge is simply beautiful. We stayed in the sunflower room. The staff were all very nice, the food was great. Rooms were large and super clean. Bed was very comfortable. We ate at the Tavern for dinner one night and we ate breakfast at the lodge on the day we left. Great food both times. The pizza was amazing and fresh and my husband loved his food. The waffles at breakfast were great. We needed some down time and this did not disappoint. We took scenic rides, shopped in nearby towns and kicked back on the deck. They could make a Hallmark movie at this lodge. It is that pretty and well kept. We will be back!"
