Crossnore Weavers & Gallery, located in Crossnore, North Carolina, is a museum and tourist attraction dedicated to preserving the art of hand-weaving in the Appalachian tradition. The institution provides economic opportunities for women and supports Crossnore Communities for Children through the sale of hand-woven goods worldwide. Visitors can explore the gallery Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The gallery offers a variety of hand-woven products, including soft cotton blankets, poncho-like garments, and greeting cards featuring scenes from the famous fresco "Suffer the Little Children" by Benjamin F. Long, IV. Additionally, weaving classes are offered three times a year on the Avery campus, teaching traditional Appalachian Mountain Weaving to all interested individuals.
