"The evening crew is awesome. Done most of my shopping closer to their closing time. Doesn't matter if they are closing in 2 minutes they are nice to you (don't give you attitude or walk around huffing and puffing trying to rush you out like most places) and help you as if they have another two hours or more to work. Can't remember the guys name that is there every evening I've went in but he can tell you where something is in the store (aisle, what side and how far down the aisle it is) almost down to the shelf. They are super helpful and extremely kind. Love this place"
"Since the new owners took over, it's a lot less customer-oriented. The owner or manager is a bit grumpy. The contract Post Office at the rear of the store is probably the best thing about Northwest Ace Hardware. However, I bought a few gift cards and when I went to mail them, the adhesive on the envelope wasn't sticking very well. I asked the postal clerk for a piece of cellophane tape, but she said that the owners no longer allow them to dispense any type of supplies due to cost saving rules. Really?"
"The cashier last night was SO helpful, friendly, and had a wonderful sense of humor to boot! She went above and beyond to offer suitable options when I wasn't even sure exactly what I was looking for. I learned that they could order a specific part to accommodate my needs at no extra cost to me."
